About the Role:
As the Principal Advisor, Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), you will work alongside regional and school leaders to build leadership capability and support the implementation of evidence-informed Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Through high-quality professional learning, coaching and strategic advice, you will help schools develop safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments that improve academic, behavioural and wellbeing outcomes for every student.
Responsibilities Include:
Work collaboratively with school leadership teams to strengthen Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 practices;
Develop responsive systems of support, and use data to inform decision making and continuous improvement;
Contribute to regional priorities by leading capability-building initiatives, supporting school improvement and fostering strong partnerships across the education system.

A mandatory requirement of this role is:
You must be a permanent employee of the department with a substantive teaching or classified officer role employed under Teaching in State Education Award - State 2016, have current full registration as a teacher and should be aware that temporary internal moves for the purposes of the department's payroll processes are referred to as internal secondments.
Employees' engaged temporarily as Education Officer - Special Duties have a requirement of 36 hours per week attendance and arrangements as outlined in clause 5.12 of the Department of Education State School Teachers' Certified Agreement 2022.
