We are looking for someone who has passion for food and services to join our diverse team.
Roles and responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Organising stock and ensuring ingredients are properly labelled and rotated using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Operating the commercial dishwasher and washing specialty pots, pans, and utensils by hand.
- Maintaining a clean workstation by regularly wiping down benches, sanitising surfaces, and washing walls.
- Clearing rubbish and food waste frequently, ensuring bins are emptied, cleaned, and relined.
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors throughout the shift and during close-down.
Experienced staff( 1year) are prefered. However, welcome to apply if you have what it takes to work in the busy kitchen.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $26.44 per hour
