Details: The Funding and Disclosure Manager is responsible for the effective implementation, administration and compliance with legislation, policies and procedures related to ACT’s election funding, expenditure and financial disclosure scheme. The role provides expert advice on complex and sensitive matters and manages the compliance investigation program to ensure compliance with Part 14 of the Electoral Act 1992. The role leads a team to ensure the organisation’s funding and disclosure activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with legislative requirements under the Act.

Highly desirable:

Detailed knowledge of ACT’s election funding, expenditure and financial disclosure scheme and the Electoral Act 1992.

Significant experience in accurately interpreting and consistently applying public sector legislation, policies and processes.

Proven ability to oversee compliance with disclosure obligations, identifying non-compliance risks and implementing controls to ensure transparency and integrity in policy financing.
