About us:
Yarrabah is a discrete First Nations community located one hour south of Cairns with a population of over 2800 people. The Yarrabah Emergency Department is operated by Cairns and Hinterland HHS and the primary health service is managed by Gurriny Yealamucka Health Services Aboriginal Corporation. A whole-of-community approach is at the core of the health equity agenda and is critical to improving health access and health outcomes for the Yarrabah people.
About you:
In your new role you will......
Provide effective and efficient management of service in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence-based care and to utilise skills to backfill leave for the Director of Nursing.
Effectively manage self and assist and lead in the development of staff to enable fulfilment of clinical standards and roles responsibilities in the Emergency service.
In collaboration with the Director of Nursing lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective Health services.
