Kids Train Driver / Ride Operator Wanted

South Point Shopping Centre – Tuggeranong ACT
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic person to operate our kids’ train inside South Point Shopping Centre.

Work Schedule:
Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM (1 hour break)
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30 min break)
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30 min break)
Approx. 20.5 hours per week
Requirements:
- Full Australian Driver Licence (Required)
- Friendly and confident personality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Able to work in a busy shopping centre environment
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Previous customer service or entertainment experience is an advantage
Main Duties:
- Operate the train safely around the shopping centre
- Assist children and parents during boarding and exiting
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the train
- Collect payments and provide friendly customer service
- Ensure children follow safety rules during rides
- Report any technical or safety issues immediately
