We are an established roofing specialist in Perth, Western Australia with over 40 years’ experience in roofing.
We are seeking a trade qualified Roof Tiler to join the team here in Perth WA.
You will be required to work in many different locations, sometimes work away from home in regional areas as well as in and around Perth metro areas on commercial and residential projects.
The ideal candidate will have Roof tiling skills and able to work un-supervised with good initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude. This role involves physical work, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of new and replacement Tile or Slate roofs Installation of new and replacement Lead elements
- Installation of waterproof membranes, insulation or sarking
- Cutting, fitting and cementing ridges, pointing, screws and hunching’s
- Inspect and repair flashings ,joints and Roof penetrations
- Fitting ridge caps and valley materials including lead
- Mixing and applying cement for bedding works
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings in order to install the works of the project
- Problem solve roof plumbing problems identify solutions to water leaks and the required repairs / recommendations
- Assists with the on-site coaching and learning of apprentices, trainees & work experience employees
- Leave job sites clean and tidy each day, bring back fixings and scrap to workshop
- Assist with manufacturing or preparation of roofing elements at the company’s workshop
- Complete all Site required OH&S documentation i.e. Risk assessments, SWMS / JSA, Toolbox, Pre-Starts etc
You will need to have the following;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in roof tiling
- Construction Industry White Card
- Working at Heights - R11OHS204A
- Drivers Licence
- Proof of Identity
- Working Referees within last 6-12 months

Vacancy is ‘full time’ and includes all entitlements and competitive flat rates of pay offered based on skills and experience.
