Daytime Service Chef – Monday to Friday

Our passion is serving real food that makes people happy. To do that, we need the right people in our kitchen. We are looking for an experienced Daytime Service Chef who can stay organised, work efficiently and deliver consistently great food throughout service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming kitchen orders and preparing meals accurately and efficiently;
- Ensuring every order is cooked, presented and sent out to a consistently high standard;
- Working across different kitchen stations and managing multiple orders during busy periods;
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to keep service running smoothly;
- Completing minor food preparation tasks during quieter periods;
- Monitoring food quality, portioning and presentation;
- Following all recipes, Standard Operating Procedures and food safety requirements;
- Completing regular temperature checks and maintaining accurate food-safety practices;
- Keeping service areas, equipment and back-of-house spaces clean, organised and ready for use;
- Assisting with stock rotation, product dating and putting away deliveries when required;
- Contributing to the consistent quality of our menu and the overall guest experience.
Key ingredients:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar chef or busy kitchen-service role;
- The ability to remain calm, organised and productive during busy service periods;
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills;
- Confidence reading and prioritising kitchen orders;
- Good knife skills and the ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment;
- A strong focus on food quality, consistency and presentation;
- A positive, constructive and considerate communication style;
- A team-first attitude and a willingness to assist with preparation and cleaning as required;
- A genuine love of food and exceptional customer service;
- Availability to work daytime shifts from Monday to Friday, approximately 25-30 hours per week.
