About the Role
As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in delivering daily production targets while operating large-scale mining equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating 400t+ hydraulic excavators and large production dozers
- Completing pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Maintaining high standards of equipment care and housekeeping
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults or operational issues
- Working closely with Supervisors and fellow operators to achieve production targets
- Following all site safety procedures and operational requirements
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Minimum 12 months' recent experience operating 400t+ excavators and large production dozers in an open-cut mining environment
- Current RII competencies or verified site training transcripts issued within the past five years
- Current Standard 11
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- A strong commitment to safety and safe operating practices
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a high-performing team
- The ability to satisfy all site access and pre-employment requirements
