The opportunity
As part of our Workforce Planning & Organisational Design team, you'll play a key role in helping QBE build a future-ready workforce. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll lead strategic workforce planning initiatives that ensure we have the right capabilities, capacity and organisational structures to deliver on our business objectives. You'll combine workforce insights, strategic thinking and organisational design expertise to sole complex business challenges and shape how we organise for future success.

Your new role:
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead strategic workforce planning activities across a 3–5 year horizon, including workforce forecasting, capability assessments, talent supply and demand analysis, and future workforce planning.
Partner with senior leaders to identify current and future workforce needs, translating business strategy into actionable workforce strategies, investment choices and implementation roadmaps.
Lead or support strategic workforce planning engagements in a consulting-style capacity, including problem definition, hypothesis-led analysis, executive storytelling, options development and recommendation design.
Build and refine workforce planning methodologies, frameworks, tools and data models to support enterprise-wide decision-making and repeatable SWP practices.
Collaborate with HRBPs, Finance and business leaders to assess workforce demand, talent supply, cost implications and capability shifts required to deliver future business outcomes.
Provide advice on workforce implications of operating model, organisational design and transformation initiatives, including role clarity, job architecture, spans and layers where required.
Support senior leaders through workforce transformation initiatives, ensuring recommendations are pragmatic, commercially grounded and able to be embedded across the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring deep expertise in strategic workforce planning and organisational design within large, complex organisations. You'll be commercially minded, highly analytical and comfortable partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges and influence enterprise-wide decisions.
You'll also have:
Significant experience in Strategic Workforce Planning, including workforce forecasting, capability planning, talent supply and demand analysis, and scenario modelling.
Proven ability to lead workforce planning across a 3–5 year horizon, translating business strategy, financial plans, transformation programs and workforce implications into actionable workforce outcomes.
Experience within a leading management consulting firm, professional services environment, or internal consulting-style role, with strong advisory and problem-solving capability.
Strong analytical capability, leveraging workforce, organisational, financial and external labour market data to generate actionable insights and support evidence-based decisions.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders, partnering with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, capability priorities and transformation outcomes.
Working knowledge of organisational design, job architecture, operating model alignment and organisational effectiveness, with demonstrated success leading large-scale workforce planning, transformation or organisational change initiatives.
