Position Profile: The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) supports the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and acts in their role as required. Working collaboratively with the NUM, the ANUM contributes to effective leadership and the efficient management of the designated specialty area in alignment with the SHOC strategic direction.
The ANUM provides clinical leadership to both patients and nursing staff within the specialty area. The position is responsible for delivering clinical nursing services at an advanced level, promoting and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Additionally, the ANUM coordinates the continuum of care throughout the patient’s journey, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
