We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a dual role that includes Educational Leadership responsibilities. About the Role
As an Early Childhood Educator and Educational Leader, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences for children while supporting educators to continuously improve teaching practices across the service.
You will work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to foster a culture of reflection, innovation, and excellence, ensuring our educational program aligns with the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Key Responsibilities
Early Childhood Educator
- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Plan and implement engaging educational programs that support children's learning and development.
- Observe, document and assess children's progress.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive outcomes for all children.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and service policies.
Educational Leader
- Guide and support educators in curriculum planning and reflective practice.
- Mentor team members to strengthen pedagogical knowledge and teaching strategies.
- Lead discussions around quality improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.
- Facilitate critical reflection and professional learning opportunities.
- Assist in preparing for Assessment and Rating processes and Quality Improvement Plan goals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience mentoring and supporting educators.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and care.
