The opportunity
We are in the market for an experienced and qualified professional leader to join the City as Executive Manager Natural Environment. You are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.
In this role, which is offered as a full-time 5-year fixed term contract, you will lead and develop your teams to ensure the City’s strategic and operational management objectives are met. Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving our strategic, financial, operational, and statutory objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture. Teams within this portfolio include:
- Marina and Waterways;
- Environmental Engagement;
- Bushland Management;
- Landscape Management;
- Landscape Services; and
- Waste Management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree and/or Post Graduate qualification covering a relevant environmental management/science discipline related to the natural environment and waterways.
- Possession of, or progression towards, a Post Graduate qualification in Management; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Significant experience in leading natural environment programs and services within Local Government.
- Eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body.
