thePromoAgency supplies briefed promotional staff, brand ambassadors and stand hosts for exhibitions, trade shows, sampling and brand activations across Melbourne.
We are taking applications for upcoming casual shifts, including weekend expo work at MCEC and similar venues.
The work
- Greet visitors and start conversations
- Talk through a short briefed offer
- Hand flyers / run QR or sign-up
- Send the right people to the stand team
- Circulate in permitted public areas when the brief calls for it
- Stay professional on a busy floor
Some shifts are trade-only. Some are public consumer shows. Some are 18+ lifestyle events. You will be told the event type before you accept a shift.
You will suit this if you
- Are confident approaching people
- Have clear spoken English
- Can work on your feet for 4–9 hour sessions
- Have promo, hospitality, retail or event experience (preferred, not essential)
- Can take a short brief and stick to it
- Are 18 or over
