About the opportunity
We’re inviting Expressions of Interest for an IT Network Systems Administrator to join our IT team.
This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving Sanitarium’s network, voice, and firewall environments across our manufacturing and corporate sites. It’s a hands-on role with real impact, supporting business continuity, performance, and security across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for keeping our network and communications systems running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. This includes:
- Managing and supporting corporate network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, internet and remote access)
- Monitoring performance, resolving issues and driving continuous improvements
- Administering firewall rules, access controls and security policies
- Supporting Unified Communications (MS Teams, Cisco platforms)
- Providing Level 2/3 escalation support for network-related issues
- Working closely with Cyber Security, Service Desk and project teams
- Contributing to infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and projects
- Maintaining documentation, processes and disaster recovery plans
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from people who bring a strong mix of technical capability and a customer-focused mindset:
Experience:
- 6–8+ years in network administration and support
- Strong working knowledge of network systems, infrastructure and technologies
- Experience supporting voice/UC platforms (Teams, Cisco essential)
Qualifications:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar
- CCNA (Voice, Network) or equivalent
- Azure / Microsoft 365 certifications (desirable)
