Our female spinal injured client in the Wattle Grove area requires an experienced carer to assist achieve her goals, maximise her potential for independence and live her best life within her community. As per our client's request, female carers are encouraged to apply for this position.
Duties may include however are not limited to:
- Personal care; assist with showering, toileting and personal hygiene
- Clinical care, bowel care, catheter care, colostomy, stoma bag, BSL management
- Manual handling; use of equipment to support mobility such as sara steady and wheelchair transfers
- Domestic duties
- Community access
Essential criteria:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- An understanding of spinal injury
- NDIS Worker screening check, Working with Children check and First Aid Certificate
- Working rights in Australia
