About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our casual pool of nursing staff so support our Health Centre. The St Peters Health Centre provides nursing assessment and treatment to over 2,000 students and staff from Prep - Yr 12.
Shifts and hours can be considered and negotiated to suit the needs of the applicant if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with staff across departments, parents and other health professionals to provide high quality medical care
- Provide emergency first aid to SPLC community or visitors should it be required
- Ensure the clinic is fully supervised and appropriately equipped
- Maintain current knowledge of medical issues and participate in professional development to maintain up to date practices
What You Bring
- Must hold current Nurse Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nursing Code of Ethics and the Nursing Code of Practice.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a school environment or working with children.
- Strong clinical and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, with meticulous record keeping skills.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.
