We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with specific experience in the craft brewing industry. This role requires a hands on, experienced and safe operator who has a number of year's experience in the procurement, manufacturing, installation & commissioning of new micro-breweries, but also then the operational experience to plan, organise and oversee the manufacturing of the products once commissioned and also supervise staff and the supply chain.
Located in Tasmania, with intra and interstate travel required, plus the ability to communicate with suppliers overseas. Fluent Mandarin will be highly regarded, and freight and logistics experience is a must.
Other Tasks include but are not limited to:
- implementing and monitoring production plans, schedules and reporting
- planning details of production activities in terms of cost, time and labour requirements to ensure tight budgets are met
- Leading maintenance, cleaning and supply of parts and tools to avoid downtime
- informing and reporting to the Managing Director for production and orders
- leading the oversight, procurement, acquisition and installation of new brewery plant and equipment
- Publishing production records and reports
- Leading the occupational health and safety requirements of the brewery
- leading staff and monitoring performance and reporting to the Managing Director
Pay: $95,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
