To be successful, you’ll need:
- Experience as a Senior HR Advisor or People & Culture Business Partner, ideally in a busy, operational environment (any industry welcome, meat/food or other highly regulated environments a bonus)
- Experience managing HR matters such as performance, conduct, bullying and harassment and safety-related behaviour, including running or supporting investigations and documenting outcomes clearly
- A grounded, thoughtful and empathetic approach, with a genuine culture of care for both people and the business
- Strong communication and partnering skills, able to build trust with leaders, coach them through day-to-day people issues and work well with central/corporate teams
- Exposure to the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and exit) and interest in workforce planning and workforce stability
- Exposure to Fair Work processes, Awards and EBAs, and a willingness to dive deeper and build your confidence in this space, including supporting consultation and change activity
