We're looking for an Audit Assistant to join our Ballarat office. If you have some audit experience under your belt and are looking for a firm that will support your professional development, provide exposure to a diverse client base, and invest in your CA journey, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
As an Audit Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced audit professionals and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
Applying fundamental audit skills within the RSM audit methodology
Preparing and completing audit workpapers, documenting testing and findings
Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork activities
Developing your knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
Using leading audit technology and electronic audit tools
Assisting in the preparation of reports and documentation for clients and management
Supporting senior team members with audit engagements and client requirements
Maintaining training records, timesheets and other administrative requirements
About you:
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
Completed or commenced CA studies (or an equivalent qualification)
Approximately 6-12 months of audit experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
A genuine desire to learn, grow and build a long-term career in professional services
