The Lord Anson Hotel is looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver outstanding food in our busy pub and bistro.

About the Role
As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
· Leading and mentoring the kitchen team.
· Designing and updating seasonal pub and bistro menus.
· Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation.
· Managing kitchen operations, rostering, and labour costs.
· Controlling food costs, stock ordering, and inventory.
· Ensuring compliance with food safety and WHS regulations.
· Working closely with management to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a busy pub and/or bistro environment.
· Proven leadership and team management skills.
· Strong knowledge of modern Australian pub and bistro cuisine.
· Experience managing food costs, GP, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred).
· Full Australian working rights.
