Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while supporting chefs and other kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in stocking and organizing pantry and kitchen supplies.
- Support chefs and cooking staff during meal service.
- Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
