About the role
We are seeking a female caring and experienced support worker.

Client info:
- 10-year-old boy
- Physical disability (spina bifida)
- Developmental delay
- Intellectual disability
- Non-verbal communication
- A behaviour support plan is in place
- Work will commence this Saturday, 13 June, from 9:00am to 1:00pm
- Additional shifts are expected to become available soon, including early morning hours (6:00am–8:00am) and afternoon shifts (3:00pm–5:00pm)
Key Responsibilities
· Provide person-centered support to clients with complex and/or challenging needs
· Provide transportation support to take participants to appointments, social and community access so a reliable vehicle will be required.
· Build rapport and collaborate effectively with the participant, their families, friends and care team to achieve positive outcomes
· Be a mentor and encourage individuals to learn and undertake daily living tasks
· Provide personal care and assistance with personal and domestic activities
· Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
Essential Criteria:
· Minimum 2 years' experience with Complex behaviors / needs
· Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disabilities or similar
· Right to Work in Australia
· Unrestricted Driver's license
· Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
· Completion of or willingness to undertake NDIS Worker Orientation and Prevention of Infection Control Training
· Working with children's / OCRE card required
· NT NDIS Workers Screening Clearence
· Criminal History Check
Desirable Criteria
· Previous healthcare or community welfare experience
