Your new role:
Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as the Dual Diagnosis Coordinator, where you'll provide advanced clinical leadership to strengthen the care of consumers with co-occurring mental health and alcohol and other drug conditions. Working across inpatient and community settings, you'll drive evidence-based practice, build workforce capability and influence service improvement.
Provide advanced clinical leadership, consultancy and expert assessment for consumers with dual diagnosis across acute inpatient and community services.
Build the capability of multidisciplinary teams through education, mentoring, clinical supervision and specialist consultancy.
Lead quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, person-centred care across the continuum of treatment.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate clinical leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for people experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and advanced clinical expertise in mental health and alcohol and other drug services.
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, consultation and capacity building across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence practice and lead change.
Commitment to person-centred, evidence-based care, quality improvement and developing the capability of others.
