Frango is seeking full-time Chefs/Cooks to join our back of house team at various locations across Sydney. You will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious food which complements our exceptional customer service experience that we are so proud of.
In the role you will be responsible for:
· Cooking and preparing a variety of dishes from our well developed and established menu;
· Maintaining a well presented, clean and safe kitchen area;
· Setting up the kitchen and organising the food preparation;
· Managing and organising stock as well as undertaking regular stocktakes;
· Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times;
· General workplace hygiene (mopping, sweeping, wash up, etc);
· Working collaboratively with the front of house and other kitchen team members to ensure a smooth operation; and
· Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
You will need to possess the following:
· Relevant experience of 1 year + in a similar role
· For the role of Chef a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or similar
· Strong organisational skills
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· A passion for food and attention to detail
· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
· Flexibility to work various shifts between Monday to Sunday
· Full working rights and ability to work 38 hours in a week
· Medically fit to undertake the role and willing to undergo pre-employment medical checks
Renumeration
· Qualified chef - $70,000 - $85,000 annually
· Cook - $70,000 - $75,000 annually
