About the Role
As a Job Coach, you will work closely with NDIS participants to identify their employment goals, develop work-ready skills and support them to successfully find and maintain meaningful employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with NDIS participants to identify their employment interests, strengths and goals
- Assist participants with job searching, resume preparation and job applications
- Provide interview preparation and workplace skills training
- Support participants during their transition into employment
- Develop positive relationships with employers and explore suitable employment opportunities
- Provide ongoing workplace support to help participants maintain employment
- Encourage independence, confidence and skill development
- Maintain accurate case notes and required documentation
- Cold-calling prospective employers
- Looking for job opportunities for NDIS participants
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about supporting people with disability
- Having experience in employment services, recruitment, customer service, community services, disability support, education or case management.
- Qualification in Employment Services is preferred but not essential
- Positive, patient, reliable and person-centred
- Confident communicating with participants, families and employers
- Organised and able to work independently
- Experienced in employment services, disability support, career coaching or a related field
- Understanding of the NDIS and/or disability sector is highly desirable
- Previous experience supporting people with disability into employment is an advantage

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
