Round 2 it Maintenance is a rapidly growing property maintenance company servicing Ipswich, Logan & surrounding suburbs. We provide responsive, high-quality home and commercial maintenance services to home-owners, investors, property managers, landlords & body corporates.
We need someone who can hit the ground running. This role is for an experienced tradesperson who can be handed a job, work it out, and get it done — no hand-holding required.
About the Role
You’ll attend residential, commercial and investment properties independently, managing your own day and completing tasks including:
- General property maintenance, repairs and installations
- Carpentry, plastering, painting, sealing and finishing works
- Door, lock, hardware, fence and gate repairs and replacements
- Routine maintenance inspections, reporting and customer communication
Who We’re Looking For
- Solid, proven experience in handyman, maintenance, carpentry or trade work — this is not an entry-level role
- Genuinely independent — confident managing your own schedule, making calls on-site, and solving problems without needing to check in
- High standard of workmanship and pride in the finish
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones/apps for job documentation
- Punctual, reliable, professional presentation
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver Licence (manual preferred)
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or related field
- Experience using ServiceM8 or similar job management software
