Role & Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day kitchen operations with a focus on quality and consistency
- Create and develop seasonal menu items that align with TREND’s brand
- Food preparation, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
- Manage and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and reduce food wastage
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years proven experience in a chef role (restaurant or café)
- Strong culinary skills and creativity with modern Australian and international cuisines
- Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of cost control and kitchen management
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings as required
