Semi Tipper Driver - Tandem Tipper Driver.
Positions available for two people, open employment opportunity for new to the industry for HR Body truck work.
Semi Tipper requires experience semi tipper drivers only.
Regular work, not micro managed.
Trucks are based at Rochedale (Brisbane Southside) near the Gateway motorway.
Monday to Friday work with hours available on Saturday at customer request. I don't usually chase weekend work. BUT it does come up from time to time.
Trucks are auto shift - We are willing to give new starters an opportunity to join the industry if you have the right work attitude and natural driving skills this will help you on your way.
Semi Tipper positions are only open to experienced drivers as you are required to to be proficient at reversing into tight driveways & tipping concrete or C&D demo
We test drive any serious applicants, which will mean on road driving, backing trailers in a straight line, around corners and into tight areas. Again, this is not a training position for the HC trucks.
We are a small family business that has been around for some time. There are no 4 bay sheds with tea and coffee facilities and lounges. We have a great customer base that respects our drivers and as such, drivers are required to work with our customers and complete daily hire dockets to a legible standard and follow instructions.
Only seeking drivers that know how to work properly.
After 3 months we will look at guaranteed hours of 38 hrs. per week. This will cover rain days or if work slows in between jobs starting. This does not cover public holidays. You will receive a Meal Allowance at 10hrs (docket book hours)
If you prefer to work with overtime penalty rates etc. then we are happy to refer to the industry award rate. Basically we will try to work with individuals for their circumstance.
This is a no fuss position, trucks are to be cleaned each week, inside and outside, prefer drivers that have neat professional appearance, non smokers and a positive work attitude.
