Trade Assistant & HR MR Driver
Full Time Perm | Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 3:30pm
Transcend are seeking for reliable and hardworking
Trade Assistant / HR–MR Driver to support trade operations and transport materials safely and efficiently. This hands-on role involves assisting tradespeople on-site, handling tools and materials, and operating HR/MR vehicles to deliver equipment and supplies. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate metal cutting & forming machines and hand/power tools
- Fabricate metal frames for doors, windows and security products.
- Assist welders with setup and platform preparation.
- Drive company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.
- Follow all workplace health, safety and quality standards.
About You
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Labourer, or similar role (Desirable).
- Valid HR or MR driver’s licence (Essential).
- White Card (Essential).
- Experience using hand and power tools (Desirable).
- Strong understanding of safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
