We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Tradesperson to join our growing team. This role involves a variety of commercial and industrial electrical work, including solar PV installations, generator systems, switchboards, and general electrical projects.
Previous solar experience is highly regarded but not essential. We are happy to provide training for the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding.
- Install and commission commercial solar PV systems (training provided if required).
- Install cable trays, conduits and cabling.
- Install and terminate switchboards, inverters and associated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Complete testing, commissioning and required documentation.
- Work safely in accordance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism on site.
- Supervise apprentices, trade assistants, and subcontractors on site.
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Current White Card.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Strong understanding of Australian Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with commercial solar PV installations.
- Working at Heights certification.
- EWP, Scissor Lift or Boom Lift ticket.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical projects.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $101,907.73 per year
