We’re Hiring: Male Support Worker
Location: North Sydney and Ermington Job Type: Casual
Strive to Achieve Support is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated male support worker to join our growing team. We are a person-centred NDIS provider committed to empowering individuals with disability to live their best lives.
About the Role:
As a support worker, you will provide one-on-one assistance to NDIS participants in their daily activities, helping them build independence, confidence, and connection with their community.
Duties May Include:
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene
- Supporting with daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, appointments)
- Providing community access and transport
- Encouraging social interaction and recreational activities
- Implementing and documenting support plans
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring and respectful approach
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in disability or aged care support (preferred but not essential)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- COVID-19 vaccination (in line with current guidelines)
- Passionate about music (violin)
