Motor Mechanic (General) (Full Time)

We are now looking for an experienced and well qualified Motor Mechanic to join our growing team.
For this awesome opportunity you will need:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience working as a Motor Mechanic Have obtained relevant motor mechanic trade qualifications. Strong attention to detail Strong customer service skills with the ability to relate well to customers and explain the issues with their cars Able to work in a team Reliable and committed
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and establishing faults within various motor parts as well as the engine. Checking problematic areas of the vehicle through various methods such as steering mechanisms, transmissions, and can also include dismantling and removing engine assemblies. Where required, repair and replace worn and defective parts of the vehicle as well as reassemble mechanical components. Refer to service manuals where required. Assist customers in performing scheduled maintenance services, including engine tune-ups, lubrications and oil changes in order to achieve smoother running of vehicles. Also check to ensure that vehicle is in compliance with pollution regulations. After identifying and rectifying the issues, test and adjust mechanical parts as necessary to ensure proper performance. Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and where required, issue roadworthiness certificates or provide details on the work required in order to achieve roadworthiness. Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaced parts or assemblies, using various instruments to make sure they are working properly and putting them back into the vehicle. Carry out minor body repairs and minor trim repair. Install or repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, gauges and stereo and satellite navigation system, rear camera, reverse sensors. Fitting exhaust system, cold air intake, hard lid, fog light, tail light, head light, spoilers, performance suspension and road testing vehicles in order to help diagnosis and confirm that repairs were done without further issues.
