We are looking for mature Female Disability Support Workers who have experience in MH to join our team in Moreton Bay in providing exceptional support to a range of clients, including Personal Care, Domestic, Community Access and in Supported accommodation. You will have the opportunity to assist in developing essential skills, including personal care, cooking, domestic assistance, social support and relationship building.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Ability to work both within a team and autonomously
- Mental Health experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine desire to support people with disabilities using a person-centered approach
- A commitment to continuous learning and improving communication skills
To apply for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Working with Children Check
- Current police check conducted within the last 6 months
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification
