As the Learning and Development Coordinator, you will lead are-able's learning and capability framework, ensuring our workforce has the skills, qualifications and development opportunities needed to deliver great outcomes for our communities.
This is a strategic and coordination-focused role that oversees the organisation's Learning and Capability Matrix, training compliance, learning systems and workforce capability reporting. You'll work closely with leaders across the organisation to identify capability needs, develop learning pathways, manage workforce compliance requirements and drive a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
You'll also manage our Learning Management System (ELMO), maintain accurate training records, coordinate learning initiatives, engage with external training providers and provide valuable insights that support workforce planning and organisational performance.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Adult Learning, Education, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in Learning & Development, Workforce Capability, Human Resources, or Organisational Development.
- Experience developing and managing training frameworks, capability matrices, and workforce development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of training compliance, licence and qualification management, and workforce governance requirements.
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), ideally ELMO or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful workforce insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
- Experience designing learning pathways, capability frameworks, or workforce development programs.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset and a passion for helping people grow and succeed.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion and creating opportunities for people from all backgrounds to thrive.
Highly regarded:
- Experience within the community services, disability, employment services, education or not-for-profit sectors.
- Experience developing eLearning content and digital learning resources.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, or organisational capability frameworks.
