Solid career opportunity for a Sales Support Consultant to join a growing, medium-sized business in Turrella, Sydney.
THE COMPANY
· Thompsons Roller Shutters (Thompsons) has been successfully designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing industrial commercial door product since the mid 1920’s.
· Thompsons are currently experiencing exciting levels of sales growth and are looking to engage the services of a highly driven Internal Sales Support Consultant.
THE POSITION
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Preparation and submission of customer quotations.
· Receiving incoming customer requests and preparing quotations in a timely, efficient manner.
· Take-off and estimation, based on customer requests and specifications.
· Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase sales/customer service performance.
· Provide consistent follow up of all quotations
· Assist current sales staff and senior management to grow company sales revenue and maximize gross margins from prospective and existing customer base.
YOUR PROFILE
· Ideally, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role of work or environment of work. Experience and knowledge within the industrial / commercial door industry and service and repair is not essential to be considered for this role but will be looked upon favourably.
Highly desirable attributes include;
· Experience taking incoming sales enquiries and preparing quotations.
· Ability to interpret drawings/written specifications (or willingness to learn).
· High level of computer, written and verbal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent time management skills, this role requires strict adherence to deadlines and customer service.
· Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a growing team.
