About the Role
We are seeking a Management Consultant / Business Consultant to support the continued growth and operational maturity of Clinic Maintenance. The role will work closely with the business owner, project managers, trades, administration team and other stakeholders to review current operations and recommend practical improvements across sales, quoting, scheduling, project delivery, client communication, documentation, reporting and after-service support.
This role is suited to a structured business improvement professional who can analyse current workflows, identify operational gaps, prepare improvement recommendations and support the implementation of better systems, procedures and management controls across a growing project-based business.
Key Responsibilities
· Review current business operations across enquiry intake, site inspection, quoting, job scheduling, project delivery, client updates, invoicing, warranty and after-service support.
· Analyse existing workflows, job records, reports, client communication practices, templates, handover points and internal procedures.
· Identify business gaps, bottlenecks, duplicated work, risk areas and opportunities to improve efficiency, service consistency and customer experience.
· Develop recommendations to improve operating methods, work allocation, project visibility, internal accountability and resource utilisation.
· Prepare business improvement reports, workflow maps, procedure documents, implementation plans, role clarity recommendations and management updates.
· Assist with refining the end-to-end project management process from initial consultation through to final inspection and aftercare.
· Support improvements to quote follow-up, client communication standards, job tracking, scheduling, documentation and performance reporting.
· Review job roles, responsibilities and handover points between administration, project management, trades and management.
· Recommend improvements to systems, templates, checklists, dashboards and standard operating procedures.
· Assist with implementing approved recommendations, including revised procedures, team guidance, training materials and change support.
· Provide coaching and support to team members during process, system and operating model changes.
· Support management in improving scalability, profitability, control, customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
Skills and Experience
· Bachelor degree or higher in Business, Management, Commerce, Operations, Project Management or a related discipline.
· Experience in management consulting, business consulting, operations improvement, business transformation or organisational improvement.
· Strong ability to analyse workflows, business processes, operating models, role responsibilities and organisational structures.
· Experience preparing process maps, business cases, reports, procedures, implementation plans and business improvement documentation.
· Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work with business owners, project managers, administrators, trades and operational teams.
· Ability to convert business problems into clear, practical and commercially realistic recommendations.
· Strong written communication skills and confidence preparing professional reports and management documentation.
· Experience supporting change implementation across small to medium-sized businesses or project-based operations.
· Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Highly Regarded
· Experience in construction, renovations, property maintenance, trades, project services, field services or building-related operations.
· Experience improving quoting, scheduling, job management, CRM, project tracking or customer service workflows.
· Knowledge of residential renovation project lifecycles, including consultation, design, quoting, approvals, delivery, handover and aftercare.
· Experience using or improving job management systems, CRM platforms, project management tools, reporting dashboards or workflow automation.
· Experience developing standard operating procedures, checklists, forms, templates, role guides and team training materials.
