ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking experienced Truck Crane Operators with rigging capability to support lifting operations across access tracks, bulk earthworks and transmission infrastructure construction.
This is a remote project position operating on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster. Bus transport is currently provided from Sydney only, with various pick-up and drop-off locations between Sydney and the Mudgee region.
Applicants located within NSW outside the Sydney transport route will be required to DIDO (Drive In Drive Out) at their own expense. Please note this is not a FIFO role, and candidates residing outside NSW will be required to arrange and fund their own travel to Sydney or the site if successful.
Key Responsibilities
Operating truck-mounted cranes for lifting and placing materials and equipment
Performing rigging and dogging duties as required to support lifting operations
Conducting pre-start checks and maintaining crane equipment in line with safety standards
Safely slinging loads and selecting appropriate lifting gear
Working closely with site crews, riggers and supervisors to coordinate lifts
Ensuring compliance with lift plans, site procedures and safety requirements
Assisting with general site tasks where required
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience operating truck cranes in civil construction or infrastructure projects
Valid High Risk Work Licence (CN and/or C6/C1 depending on crane capacity)
Rigging or Dogging tickets required
Experience in renewable energy projects highly desirable
Additional tickets (EWP, Working at Heights, traffic control) desirable
Full C Class driver’s licence at minimum (HR/HC desirable)
Construction White Card
Own vehicle
Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
