Civil Engineer
Kenset Construction is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and coordinate civil engineering and construction projects.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Develop construction methodologies and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate site activities, labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress and quality.
- Perform structural and geotechnical assessments where required.
- Prepare project estimates, budgets, and engineering reports.
- Assess design changes and manage project variations.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, building regulations, and WHS requirements.
- Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, surveyors, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify engineering risks and implement practical technical solutions.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and engineering principles.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering design software such as AutoCAD or similar.
Pay: $82,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
