Unlike many commercial kitchens, you won't be preparing an extensive restaurant menu from scratch every day. Approximately 60% of the menu is prepared, allowing you to focus on quality, presentation, leadership and delivering an exceptional dining experience without the pressure of a traditional hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing
Lead and develop a team delivering exceptional kitchen and dining services.
Oversee meal preparation, food presentation and service to ensure every resident enjoys a positive dining experience.
Manage kitchen operations including ordering, stock control, rostering and food budgets.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Programs, HACCP principles and food safety legislation.
Support residents with diverse dietary, allergy, cultural and texture-modified meal requirements.
Partner with clinical and lifestyle teams to continually improve menus and resident satisfaction.
Coach, mentor and develop your team while fostering a positive food safety culture.
Drive continuous improvement across food quality, service standards and compliance.
About you
You're a passionate hospitality leader with a Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent), supervisory experience, a commitment to food safety and quality, and a genuine desire to inspire teams while living our values of compassion, respect and excellence.
You'll likely have experience in one of the following roles:
You'll also bring:
Experience leading kitchen or food service teams.
Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and compliance.
Experience managing food ordering, stock control and budgets.
Confidence leading teams and building positive workplace culture.
Experience working with special diets, allergens or texture-modified meals is highly regarded.
Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
