AAMG is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer with developing/coding experience. The purpose of this role is to support development and maintenance of predictive analytics models for Asset Health diagnosis and prognosis of mining equipment.
Key Role Tasks:
- Develop predictive Asset Health models within enterprise applications.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the performance of predictive models.
- Analyse equipment failure modes, monitorable symptoms, and corrective actions for mining and fixed plant assets.
- Support the delivery, scaling, and deployment of predictive Asset Health initiatives.
- Collaborate with site operations and central teams to identify and develop high-value asset monitoring opportunities.
- Enhance enterprise health monitoring systems to improve efficiency and monitoring quality.
- Assist with system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for solving complex technical maintenance challenges through data and analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering within asset-intensive industries such as mining, resources, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
- An Engineering qualification or relevant trade background with extensive industry experience.
- Strong understanding of reliability methodologies including:
- Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Experience with condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, sensor monitoring, and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques and large dataset analysis.
- Programming experience working with time-series data.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
