Kanda Children, Youth & Family Services are seeking a motivated
Property Officer to join our team
full-time in
Beenleigh. This role is integral to ensuring our residential properties and assets are maintained to a high standard, providing safe and welcoming homes for children and young people in statutory care.
As a Property Officer, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 10–30 properties, working collaboratively with a geographically dispersed property team and internal stakeholders. While previous experience in property management or real estate is highly regarded, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct entry, routine and exit property inspections, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard
- Coordinate responsive maintenance and repair works, following through to completion
- Source and onboard suitable new properties to support portfolio growth
- Coordinate property setups and vacates, including utilities, services, property preparation and handovers
- Ensure properties remain compliant with tenancy legislation, safety requirements and organisational standards
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, service delivery & other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate property documentation, records and asset registers
About You
- Experience in property management, building or maintenance, ideally within community housing is highly regarded
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Current Driver's Licence
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Licensed Care Services approval (LCS2) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
