- Be part of a passionate, purpose-driven team that genuinely cares

Most people don't see what goes into keeping a home safe, functional and welcoming but every child who walks through the door feels it.
As a Property Officer with Kanda Children, Youth & Family Services in Beenleigh, you'll manage a portfolio of residential properties that house children and young people in statutory care. You'll work alongside a geographically dispersed property team and collaborate with internal stakeholders to make sure every property is safe, well-kept and ready to provide the stability our young people deserve.
The work happens behind the scenes. The impact doesn't. If you're someone who takes real pride in getting things right and wants to know that what they do every day makes a difference in a child's life, this is the role you've been looking for.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting entry, routine and exit inspections to ensure every property is maintained to a high standard
- Coordinating responsive maintenance and repair works and seeing them through to completion
- Sourcing and onboarding suitable new properties to support portfolio growth
- Managing property setups and vacates, including utilities, services, preparation and handovers
- Ensuring properties remain compliant with tenancy legislation, safety requirements and organisational standards
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, contractors, service delivery teams and other key stakeholders
- Keeping accurate property documentation, records and asset registers up to date at all times
You're the Right Person If
- Experience in property management, building or maintenance - ideally within community housing or a similar environment - is highly regarded
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including confidence across the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Highly organised with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities without letting things slip
- A current Driver's Licence
- You hold or are willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Licensed Care Services approval (LCS2) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
