In the role of Product Owner - Payments, you will join the Enterprise Payments and Digital Assets team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Translate business, industry and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business requirements that can be effectively consumed by delivery teams.
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal and business stakeholders to deliver strategic payments transformation initiatives across domestic and international payments.
- Work closely with Operations teams to understand current-state payment processes, identify impacts and opportunities, and support the implementation of future-state solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align business, operational and technology teams on solution design, delivery approaches and target-state outcomes.
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies associated with complex payments transformation programs and strategic change initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with business, technology and program stakeholders to proactively identify, manage and resolve delivery challenges across a complex transformation environment.
- Drive continuous improvement across payment products, processes and customer experiences by identifying opportunities to simplify and modernise payment services.
- Leverage deep payments expertise to support decision-making, stakeholder engagement and the successful delivery of transformation outcomes.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Deep payments expertise, particularly within cross-border and high-value payments.
- Experience with SWIFT, ISO 20022, NPP and cross-border payment ecosystems.
- Product Owner, Product Management or Business Analysis experience within Payments or Transaction Banking.
- Proven ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into practical solutions that can be effectively delivered by technology teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business, operations, technology, risk, legal and compliance teams.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog management, prioritisation and requirements definition.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess impacts across processes, systems, controls and customer outcomes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A customer-centric mindset and the ability to balance regulatory requirements, operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
