About the Role
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to clients in their homes and within the community. Every day is different, with a focus on helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while achieving their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care and grooming assistance
- Domestic assistance, including cleaning and household tasks
- Meal preparation and nutrition support
- Transport to appointments and community activities
- Shopping and errands
- Social support and companionship
- Medication prompting and monitoring
- Supporting client independence and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records and communication with the care team
About You
- Previous experience in home care, disability support, aged care, community care, or a similar role
- Compassionate, respectful, and client-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and professional with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
