About the role:
The Peter Faber Business School is seeking expressions of interest from casual academic staff to support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Information Technology at ACU. Opportunities are based at the North Sydney campus and Online, which may include support for nationally coordinated units delivered across multiple campuses and online. The discipline is seeking staff with expertise in core and emerging IT areas who can contribute to high-quality teaching, practical learning activities, student support, and assessment. The School's main IT offerings are the Bachelor of Information Technology, Master of Information Technology, and Master of Cyber Security underpinned by ACU's mission and values.
The School is seeking expressions of interest from applicants with expertise in one or more of the following IT areas:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and deliver tutorials, workshops, and practical learning activities in assigned IT units
- Undertake assessment marking, moderation, and related academic administration in accordance with ACU requirements
- Provide timely academic support, consultation, and guidance to students across undergraduate and postgraduate units
- Meet assessment, grading, and results deadlines and comply with relevant ACU processes and quality requirements
- Contribute to high-quality learning and teaching practices across face-to-face, blended, and online delivery contexts
You will need to have:
- A doctorate or substantial progress towards the attainment of a doctoral degree (or equivalent) in information technology or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within ACU and with external stakeholders to support excellent teaching and student outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in online teaching and the ability to support student learning effectively in digital and blended learning environments.
- Demonstrated ability to plan work activity, prioritise time and resources using established ACU processes and technology to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Awareness of the University's Mission and Catholic ethos and demonstrate an understanding of how this role serves the Mission.
