Schwarz Excavations is seeking experienced Hi-Rail Operators to join our team and contribute to major civil, rail, and infrastructure projects across Queensland. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with specialized rail and earthmoving equipment, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.

About the role:

Assist with maintenance of rail track infrastructure
Operate hi-rail vehicles in compliance with network-specific standards and operational procedures.
Follow all site, client and Schwarz safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure safe operations
Support a safety-first culture through proactive participation
Accurately complete required paperwork and reports

Skills and experience:

RIW
Unit TLIC3045 Operate road/rail vehicle
Construction Induction (White Card)
C Class Driver’s Licence
Ability to pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
Strong commitment to safety and working as part of a team
Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure (desirable)
