The Senior Program Delivery Officer offers an exciting opportunity to deliver on the Government’s key reform program of transitioning Victoria’s timber industry. Working as part of the Workforce and Landholder Program Delivery team
The position will focus on native timber industry transition responses while also contributing to shift Victoria’s timber industry towards plantation and future fibre to sustain the future of the timber industry in Victoria.
The worker support program is being delivered in partnership with external service providers so the successful candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, capacity to manage complex grant agreements and an ability to collaborate across different business areas to identify linkages and ensure holistic support is being provided across the worker, business and community streams.
This position will also contribute to the delivery of Landholder grants programs incorporating the Trees on Farms grant programs which includes the delivery of the Trees on Farms program.
The successful candidate will ensure that programs are delivered in accordance with program design expectations. To this end you will contribute to the maintenance of effective program performance monitoring, evaluation, risk management and reporting systems.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Well-developed proficiency in the use of GEMS, and the use of data base/and or customer relationship management systems.
Demonstrated understanding of workforce, business and community transition responses and plantation programs, their objectives and stakeholder environment is desirable.
High level and applied experience of grant programs and associated systems is a key requirement of this position.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
