We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Safety Improvement Support Officer (SISO) -Medical Services (Cancer Care and Medical Imaging (CCS & MI)) to the Safety Quality and Improvement (SQI) team.

The CNC SISO MS (CCS & MI) is required to deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care. The successful applicant will be expected to work as a defined clinical specialist within a dynamic health environment at an advanced level, based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.
Key Responsibilities include:
Required to deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care.
Expected to demonstrate an advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice and decision making, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
Actively participate in the provision of leadership and support within the domains of Safety, Quality and Improvement (SQI) across the spectrum of healthcare delivered in Sunshine Coast Health, partnering with Cancer Care Services and Medical Imaging.
Management and Clinical Teams, this role will be integral in embedding a patient safety ethos into the organisation culture.
Remuneration value up to $86,684 p.a, comprising salary rates $70.58 - $76.36 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent part time, 38 hrs p.f position available.).
