We are offering a job share opportunity for a Junior School Teacher—ideal for passionate educators who want to make a meaningful impact while maintaining balance.
This role is designed for two teachers working in partnership, sharing responsibility for a class and creating a consistent, high-quality learning experience for students.
- Employment Type: Part-time (0.4 FTE), Fixed Term
- Teaching Level: Year 6
- Required Days: Monday and Tuesday
- Commencement Date: 10 August 2026
- Contract Duration: Until 24 June 2027
As a Job Share Teacher, you will:
- Co-plan, co-deliver, and co-assess engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work closely with your teaching partner to ensure continuity in student learning and wellbeing
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Maintain clear communication through structured handovers and shared planning
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture

About You
The ideal candidate displays an obvious drive and passion for teaching upper junior school (years 5 & 6). With an engaging communication style and a positive attitude, you will have demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at all levels of the College.
We are looking for an educator who:

- Is organised and committed to thorough handover practices
- Shares a student-centred approach to teaching and learning
- Brings experience in teaching primary
- Values collaboration, trust, and shared accountability
Previous job share experience is welcomed, but not essential.
