What you'll do
As the Director, Divisional Program Office, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Division's portfolio, program and project management functions, driving the successful delivery of key health workforce reform initiatives. Using your expertise in program and project management, you will provide critical analysis of portfolio performance, risks, schedules, cash flow and delivery outcomes, identifying emerging issues and implementing strategies to maximise value and minimise risk. You will build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the Health Workforce Division and broader health system, providing trusted advice and actionable insights to executive leaders and governance groups. Leading a specialised multidisciplinary team, you will drive continuous improvement in project controls, reporting capability and information maturity, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of program data. As a member of the Division's extended leadership team, you will model collaborative and innovative leadership, foster a high-performance culture, and contribute to the achievement of the Division's strategic goals while maintaining a strong commitment to service quality, workplace health and safety, and continuous improvement.
